As Registration drew closer and I was looking at over $1500.00 in repairs plus Green slip and Insurance, I did my sums and decided to invest in a this bike and sell my beloved 84' RB Gemini. The distance from my home at Belrose to Work at Willoughby is 12Kms each-way. What usually takes me around 20mins in traffic to cover in my car, only takes 27mins on my bike. I am able to take little short cuts, and avoid traffic and can basically ride non-stop all the way from home. And it only takes me 7 Mins Longer.
Fuel wise I was filling my car with leaded fuel every 10 days or so with
40ltrs of fuel costing me close to $40.00, I can now commute to work and home 6
days a week for less than $2.00, riding door to door and avoiding traffic,
traffic lights and other drivers.
