Assemble
controller and accelerator by fitting cables to controller. Fit accelerator
cable by pulling back handgrip rubber and placing cable end into the slot on
inside section of grip. Remove the lid on control switch and place choke
cable into slot inside lever.
Shift
control switch into centre position. Locate cable and accelerator tube in
groove of control switch and push both onto handlebars. (Note: If accelerator tube is not located in
controller groove you will not be able to push it onto handlebars, or you will
damage location grooves if forced).
Fit
rear brake cable, fit controller cable by removing screw and cover on top of
controller. Clip in cable, replace cover and screw.
Fit
rear tyre and tube to rim.
Fit
rim to motor by locating splines and simply push wheel onto motor. Fit
single gear sprocket.
Remove
existing rear wheel and fit power assisted rear wheel to cycle.
Fit
rear pack-rack to cycle, clip in tank and secure with straps, fit fuel line
to tank and motor.
Fit
bracket supplied and suitable bolt to front arm on exhaust.
Align
rear wheel and sandwich bracket between cycle stand and frame. Re-tighten
bolts.
Fit
cable to handbrake, accelerator and control lever (Note: Adjust cables after fitting)
Fit
cable ties to secure control cables to frame of cycle.
Fit
left hand brake lever. (Provided for a matching look)
Ensure
motor is full of oil (Castrol EPX 80W/90 or refer owners manual for
different grades of oil).
Place
control lever in the cold start position, accelerate slightly, pull starter
a few times and engine will start. Push control lever back to centre
position after 20-30 seconds of running.
Your
Sachs Motor should now be ready for a test run.

For Australian conditions, we advise you use the following fuel
mixture:
100mls Shell two-stroke oil to 5 litres Premium Unleaded fuel,
or 20mls per litre.
Please note that the motor will require an 8 to 10 hour initial
running-in period.
This Motor will be fully run in after 50 to 80 Hours of use and a marked
increase in power and performance will be noticed.
In short – The More You use it the better it will be.
